Sometimes it’s good to listen to your heart, and not your head.
Because while your head isn’t always right, God gave everyone a conscience.

Jars of Clay - The Eleventh Hour
trace the shape of my heart
’til it becomes more familiar to Your eyes
i’ve been lost without You
cold without Your love
it’s taken days and nights to make me realize
rescue me from hangin’ on this line
i won’t give up on giving You
the chance to blow my mind
let the eleventh hour quickly pass me by
i’ll find You when i think i’m out of time
take the place of my heart
’til i become a stranger to my life
i’ve been down without You
wrong without Your love
in time will i be what You’re thinking of?
I just booked out of army. I learnt many things about God and myself - going to write them all down before I forget!!!
BTW, PASTORS HAVE TWITTER!!! GO ADD THEM!!!
Pastor Lia just twittered about Rhythms and Routines!
in times like these..

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
Ha ha I’m quite certain with all my heart that there’s no other God or religion that can provide you such peace as I have now…
There is no other book that has words for every moment of your life than the bible… There is no Love greater than this…
People can choose not to believe in God, they can doubt my faith,
but it’s in times like these…
When your “A”-Level results are coming out in a few hours time…
When all your friends are tossing and turning in their bed with a million scenarios running through their head.
Yet, in my heart… Peace.
Yes maybe a little nervous, but the prevailing feeling is… Peace..
See you all later.

Thank You God,
For everything that’s happening…
For everything that’s not happening…
Just to know that You are God.
Thank You!
SPIRITS MAKES MAN.
Not my gender, my education, my personality, my abilities, or anything for that matter.
Oh man Sunday was just so powerful. Although it was the same sermon as Saturday, Pastor Lia prayed for pride to fall. We will impact the schools now, not tomorrow. It’s true, that many friends around us in JC just can’t bring themselves to see God, and they’d rather trust themselves and elevate their thoughts high. Although on the one hand I think JO and I need to start believing that we’re smarter and can do well for our ‘A’-Levels even more than ever.
I feel an increase this week - that I’m not just making things happen, but I’m starting to build others. I observed how Yassy did debrief and now know why she really raises people up, I will learn from my leader man! I feel that this time I managed to catch the spirit, not just the skill, and that changes everything. Leaders will rise up in C1! By the way, C1 & 3 are leading SSF currently with 11 points each! We gave Pam the honour of pasting all the stickers for both CGs.
Lastly, school today was kinda rough - feels like I’ve been away for a month. STUDY HARD ‘cos the big one is coming. Guess I’ll be missing Asia Conference - Aw man!
Splendour. That’s our admin office at night. Trying to draw nearer. Flow. Not my ways but Yours. Literature Paper Four tomorrow. Things’ll get better. Bunch of words. My brain needs to start working in sentences.
The peace is within the storm, not out of it.

A person who worries still thinks that in some way he can solve his own problem. Worry is the mind racing around trying to find a solution to its situation. The proud man is full of himself, while the humble man is full of God. The proud man worries; the humble man waits.
-Joyce Meyer, Battle field of the Mind
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Jesus
Before a huge wave comes, the tide recedes. The wave is coming… Breakthrough.
The eleventh hour.

I spent the last hour or so chatting on MSN with many C1-ners. Ha ha C1-ners. That sounds funny.
So to every person we talked about many different things. Shared with them things so that they could learn - discipleship! Ha ha they’re so cool.
Some parts of the conversation went like:
It’s like if you want to hear God so you want to call Him, but you forgot the number. To work by your own strength is to keep dialling and dialling hoping you get the right number. But the right thing to do is to ask the Holy Spirit what is the number so you can call through. (:
(Funny how PAP made it to the papers when a minister said “Help me help you.” The smart-alec reply would be “Help me help you help me.” Then it goes on to “Help me help you help me help you!” And on and on. But that’s not my point. The point is, let God help you!)
And of course when talking to Eugene:
mong ㋡ Lord of Hosts. says:
can you stop thinking you’re so handsome
eugene E+S+J+Y=GREATNESS says:
walau
eugene E+S+J+Y=GREATNESS says:
EHH
eugene E+S+J+Y=GREATNESS says:
nooo
Yeah man as we talk we know something awesome is happening!!! SHSS!
Work hard. Fight hard. War hard. Jehovah Tsebaoth.
Play hard.
Study hard.
Can’t win without a fight now… Fight for what we believe in. This is a revolution, we will not leave this world the same.
